Constant focus and innovation have enabled INVERS to become a global leader in shared mobility solutions. Today, most of the successful carsharing companies are operated with our technology. Shared Mobility OS and the hardware are developed and produced in Germany. We are internationally represented with offices in Siegen, Cologne, and Vancouver, with over 140 employees and growing.
The concept of INVERS started in 1993 at the University Siegen. Electrical engineer Uwe Latsch was unsatisfied with the tedious (manual) key management process for carsharing vehicles and he came up with a new solution for the problem – the first automatic carsharing system. As an independent company, we at INVERS are actively involved in creating the future market for shared mobility solutions.
300 launches in over 50 countries
More than 100.000 vehicles equipped until 2019
140 employees around the globe
We make mobility shareable. This is our mission, our motivation, and our passion. In the future mobility should no longer be determined by ownership. It should become a service every human on earth has access to if needed. A service with a seamless user experience that simply works and that can be operated efficiently.
“The communication between hardware and software is a very exciting topic. It has so many facets and is challenging. You always learn new things and at the same time, you can see the results directly. At INVERS, I developed an app with which I can open my car… I mean, how cool is that?!”
Michael Rothkegel, iOS Developer
“My area of responsibility is very versatile and challenges me every single day. It ranges from concepts for new features to designing prototypes for user interfaces. Most of all, what motivates me is that I can contribute to the fact that we are all working together cross-departmentally and pulling together in the same direction. The mobility sector is developing rapidly and I am proud to be involved with it, together with my colleagues.”
Janosch Felde, Product Manager
“Making sure to meet the different IT requirements of the various departments is, besides other tasks, always challenging and motivating for my team and myself. The colleagues are great and so is the work environment – which makes working here a lot of fun.”
Daniel Emanuel, Head of IT
Sales and Business Development – Vancouver, BC
