Summary

We are reflecting on a very successful year in 2022 after participating in several events and organizing our first ever self-organized event. Exchanging knowledge and gaining new insights at mobility events has become more essential than ever. In 2023, we at INVERS anticipate a promising lineup of leading mobility events and conferences.

Update, July 13th: We added three fall North American mobility events to our selection of conferences, expos, and shows worth attending in the second half of 2023.

Autonomy (22./23.03.2023, Paris)

Autonomy Mobility World Expo in March is one of the biggest and best-known international events in the mobility sector. Its core focus is on sustainable urban mobility, and it also offers a broad spectrum of topics; from shared and active mobility to green fleets and autonomous vehicles. This year’s special feature is the first ever Autonomy Mobility Innovation award. It will be highlighting new innovations from companies in the mobility sector. The most innovative project will be selected by a prestigious jury composed of mobility investors, strategic mobility players, and partners of Autonomy. We will be there, so feel free to meet us in Paris and chat about the newest mobility trends.

Flotte! Der Branchentreff (29./30.03.2023, Düsseldorf)

Flotte will also enter reappear in 2023, with a focus on networking for German-speaking fleet managers and shared mobility providers. Exhibitors and visitors will get the chance to participate in discussions, attend talks, workshops, and roundtable discussions. As Flotte states: for the fleet industry in particular, the key to networking is a face-to-face interaction.

Mobility Solutions Show (30./31.05.2023, Toulouse)

Mobility Solutions Show is a new B2B trade fair for urban and suburban mobility solutions taking place in Toulouse. The event presents ideas that respond to new uses of mobility. Its goal is to bring together public and private mobility players by addressing all types of transport – land, sea, air – for goods and people. It facilitates meetings between mobility professionals from across the globe, and encourages networking between solution providers and city authorities.

MOVE. Mobility Re-Imagined (21./22.06.2023, London)

The 2023 edition of MOVE, a tech mobility and start-up show, is returning to London. It targets OEMs, transport operators, tech companies, energy companies, startups, and policymakers. With over 5,000 attendees in 2022, MOVE established itself as a key meeting place for buyers and sellers across the mobility value chain. For 2023, the event is building on an even larger and more complete show. Visitors will learn how global mobility leaders forge new business models, plan multimodal transport systems, and redesign urban centers for sustainable mobility. The broad agenda also features discussions on transforming automotive OEMs into mobility service providers, and transitioning to electric vehicles.

IAA (05.-10.09.2023, Munich)

Another large event to look out for in 2023 is the IAA Mobility in Munich, taking place for five days in September. IAA offers car manufacturers, suppliers, tech companies, service providers and startups opportunities to present themselves and their services to an international B2B and B2C audience. True to the motto “Experience Connected Mobility,” visitors may discover a range of mobility formats – from cars and bicycles to digital and climate-friendly innovations.

Tomorrow.Mobility (07.-09.11.2023, Barcelona)

After having celebrated its second edition in 2022, Tomorrow.Mobility world congress is coming to Barcelona for a third round in 2023. The event lets leaders in sustainable, smart urban mobility meet and share reflections, ideas, and best practices to advance the industry’s future. This year, Tomorrow.Mobility is taking it even further by encouraging a new impulse for the urban mobility sector. The transport sector is changing quickly; in urban areas exponential mobility growth meets dynamic spatial expansion, becoming a burden both for inhabitants and the environment. At Tomorrow.Mobility these challenges will be discussed and new solutions for the future of mobility will be presented. Topics of interest are public transport, micromobility, automotive, last mile logistics, future and digital transportation, transport infrastructure and energy transition and efficiency.

Shared Mobility Rocks (13.09.2023, Vancouver, BC, Canada)

Having started as a purely European event, Shared Mobility Rocks is going on tour: In 2023, the shared mobility experts at movmi have teamed up with Autodelen.net and Mpact to bring Shared Mobility Rocks to Vancouver. Planned sessions will focus on electrification of shared mobility, equity, safety, shared mobility in small and rural areas, and on how shared mobility in urban planning can make cities  flourish. This year’s edition will also feature an industry showcase where you’ll find INVERS, a pre-conference mingler the day before, and a live podcast recorded in a carshare vehicle on the day of the conference.

MOVE America (26-27.09.2023 Austin, Texas, USA)

The third edition of this show will feature 150+ exhibitors with over 3800 attendees who will presentations on electric vehicles, smart cities, fleet management, autonomous vehicles, connectivity, and a plethora of other topics. Known as the place where the most relevant people in the field of new mobility come together, delegates can learn how global mobility leaders are transforming automotive OEMs into mobility service providers, harnessing data to create efficient mobility services, planning multimodal transport systems, and more.

Fleet Forward Conference (8-10.11.2023, Santa Clara, California, USA)

Fleet Forward has traditionally been an event for commercial and government fleets, but carsharing and car rental companies, auto manufacturers, and city planners have started to have a presence at the conference as well. Delegates will learn about and discuss fleet electrification, connected vehicles, autonomous technology, telematics, shared mobility, and fleet safety.
