Schipol Taxi Network, one of the four new taxi concession holders, has been operating a fleet of 50 vehicles at Schipol Airport since November 1st, 2025. As part of Schiphol’s tender process, technology and data capabilities were key evaluation criteria. The combination of Invers CloudBoxx telematics, GoodMoovs software, and the wider technology ecosystem enables Schiphol Taxi Network to meet these requirements.

Siegen/Amsterdam, January 20th, 2026 – Schiphol Taxi Network has installed the Invers CloudBoxx telematics to enable its new digital taxi service at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The system provides keyless access, high fleet utilization, and data-driven operations for a growing fully electric taxi fleet. The new service launched on November 1, 2025 with 50 electric BMWs and operates under one of the airport’s four exclusive taxi concessions.

The new setup is centered around the GoodMoovs shared mobility platform, which uses the CloudBoxx solution to provide keyless vehicle access and real-time data on battery status, mileage, and vehicle condition across the entire Schiphol Taxi Network fleet. Drivers can now unlock vehicles and start trips simply by using an app. For the operator, the system delivers comprehensive vehicle data to support fleet management and operational control. By digitizing access and vehicle control, the need for traditional key handovers between drivers is eliminated. This streamlines operations for vehicles used by multiple drivers and extends the lifespan of the cars.”With this new, fully digital system, we are aiming for the highest possible fleet utilization,” says Gerry Oosterbaan, Director of Schiphol Taxi Network. “Our goal is to keep vehicles stationary only for charging or maintenance. We have a dedicated hub in Schiphol-Rijk with approximately 70 to 80 charging points.” The new system was set up by GoodMoovs and Invers within just 30 days after winning the tender. Many drivers were already familiar with digital access solutions from other taxi fleets in the Amsterdam region, which helped the operator accelerate onboarding and stabilize operations during the initial launch phase.

In line with Schiphol’s concession rules, the fleet is 100 percent electric and unbranded. With its focus on digitalization and data, Schiphol Taxi Network also helps Schiphol Airport manage mobility more efficiently. Based on real-time trip data and in cooperation with Bolt, fleet deployment is optimized for airport-to-city transfers, reducing the number of empty rides. As a result, Schiphol Taxi Network is a core element of the airport’s efforts to reduce emissions and traffic congestion from taxi operations. “Schiphol Taxi Network is a unique form of vehicle sharing in which the traditional taxi business model is digitized to improve mobility efficiency”, says Bharath Devanathan, Chief Business Officer at Invers. “By combining GoodMoovs software with our CloudBoxx solution, the company can achieve higher utilization rates, reduce operational friction, and support sustainable airport transportation.”

Looking ahead, Schiphol Taxi Network plans to first stabilize and optimize its current operations before exploring further growth opportunities. Schiphol Taxi Network, GoodMoovs, and Invers will continue to refine the digital service based on live operational data, focusing on efficiency, driver experience, and passenger service quality at one of Europe’s busiest airports.
