ABOUT INVERS
At INVERS, we offer integrated hardware and software solutions to mobility service providers. We act as an independent and reliable partner for car sharing, rental car, and car subscription providers. Our goal is to make shared mobility services an affordable and convenient alternative to owning a car. Our customers include companies such as Free2move, Miles, Zity, MyWheels, Getaround, Flinkster, and Cambio.
We work in empowered product teams based on Marty Cagan's model: we develop solutions that create added value for customers and INVERS. If you have experience in user research and user experience design or user interface design and are a team player with a lot of initiative, then you've come to the right place!
We are looking for you to join our product team in Netphen or Cologne as a UX Designer (f/m/d) as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis. Become part of the INVERS family. Together, we make car sharing work.
YOUR NEW JOB AT INVERS
You will work together with product managers, tech leads, and developers in a cross-functional product team—and be responsible for user research and product usability
You will design the entire user experience of our hardware and software products across all touchpoints—from hardware installation to the use of our apps and web interfaces
You will create prototypes to quickly test new ideas internally and together with customers and make informed design decisions
You will continuously conduct user research to better understand our users and discover new solutions to customer problems
You will conduct user tests to gather feedback from users and further develop our products
You design well-thought-out user flows and visually appealing interfaces based on our design system, which you continuously develop together with the other designers at INVERS
THIS IS YOU
You have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial design, human-computer interaction) and several years of professional experience in product design in a technology-driven environment
You have a genuine interest in the interface between hardware and software and also think about physical products and their use
You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Miro and Figma as well as Vibe coding tools and can create rough concepts or clickable prototypes depending on requirements
You have experience in user research and user testing and can set up and confidently carry out both in a structured manner
Ideally, you understand how shared mobility works – either because you use such services yourself or have already worked in the industry
You are a strong communicator – in German and English – show a lot of initiative, work in a structured manner and are motivated to work with your team to create value for our customers and shape the mobility of the future.
