Invers extends cooperation with Europcar Mobility Group

Invers expands its services and activities for Europcar Mobility Group, with the objective of building reliable connectivity solutions for the mobility services provider’s fleet. Building upon CloudBoxx, the dedicated sharing telematic unit from Invers, they look at an API-centric connectivity approach, to ensure future-proof mobility services based on the latest technology innovations.

Siegen/Paris, March 15th, 2022 – Invers, the inventor of automated vehicle sharing, has been supporting Ubeeqo, one of Europcar Mobility Group’s vehicle sharing brands, since 2015 and is now extending this business partnership by equipping additional vehicles of Ubeeqo’s fleet with CloudBoxx, their dedicated sharing telematic unit. As data plays an increasingly important role in innovative mobility services, Europcar Mobility Group is continuously analyzing and assesssing new solutions, such as OneAPI from Invers. This platform for software-defined fleets provides access services for standardized OEM connectivity without dedicated aftermarket telematics units.

“We have been sharing many experiences and implemented many projects in the seven years of our partnership”, says Alexander Kirn, CEO of Invers. “Ubeeqo has been a fascinating carsharing success story to follow, from the startup in Paris to a European player and we are very glad we are their partner of choice along the way.”

Invers provided the first connectivity solutions to Ubeeqo in 2015 and has been supporting the brand’s business development since then. “With Invers as a partner, we are able to focus on our own key business challenges as we can rely on always-on connectivity to all our vehicles.”, says Eduard Martinez, Software Engineering Director at Europcar Mobility Group. “Invers solutions provide us with the building blocks to create new solutions, allowing us to use our vehicles flexibly and address different business use cases.” Currently, Ubeeqo’s services in France, Spain, UK, Germany (B2B), Italy and Denmark rely on Invers technology.
