North Sea coastal car sharing grows with CloudBoxx: Flow Carsharing expands its offering to 25 stations
Flow Carsharing's electric fleet is now running on CloudBoxx from Invers. The operator from Büdelsdorf near Rendsburg has been offering its customers in Schleswig-Holstein shared electric vehicles since 2021. This year, founder and Managing Director Florian Kolberg is expanding the service from 12 to 25 stations and proving that car sharing works in rural areas - even with electric vehicles.

Microcars can contribute to the mobility transition. Their compact not only makes them more cost-effective compared to conventional electric vehicles but also enables them to occupy less space and provide increased parking flexibility - attributes particularly beneficial in congested urban areas. Invers equips MyWheels’ new bidirectional charged cars for carsharing
Dutch carsharing operator MyWheels is deploying carsharing solution CloudBoxx from Invers to make their new fleet of bidirectional chargeable cars sharing ready. The company is partnering with We Drive Solar for bidrectional charging technology and is now integrating more than 200 We Drive Solar vehicles into the MyWheels fleet by Invers technology. MyWheels is thus enabling a novel solution that uses cars as a neighbourhood energy storage facility for its customers in Utrecht.

The new edition of the Invers Mobility Barometer analyses the overall market for station-based car sharing in Europe for the first time. This form of car sharing refers to the business model with which car sharing began more than 30 years ago: Customers pick up a sharing vehicle at a car sharing station and must return it there afterwards.
